Multicultural picture books – a selection from my bookshelf lists favourites from my personal collection that are suitable for reading and discussing diversity and information about different cultural perspectives. The list is a small selection of the growing wealth of books that share stories of the diversity of cultures in our world. The realisation that we are more alike than our differences helps to build understanding, empathy and friendship. Be sure to ask your school or local librarian for their recommendations too!
