Find My Rhyme is an interactive resource for use on the interactive whiteboard.
Use it to develop children’s ability to identify and suggest rhyming words and as a stimulus to write sentences, stories and poems with rhyme.
Understanding rhyme is an important part of developing phonological awareness for young readers. Rhyming games and activities help children hear and segment words into their different sound parts.
The resource presents fifteen pairs of rhyming words. Each pair is presented on its own slide. Depending on your objectives, each slide could form the basis of a rhyming lesson, or some or all slides could be introduced in one lesson.
