Where were you born? Class survey is an integrated activity in which children get to know each other, learn about other places and represent data in graphs.
It is suitable for getting to know each other activities at the beginning of the year, when studying the cultural origins of children in the class or when learning about collecting and representing data in maths lessons. It includes a ‘Yes or No’ survey (Were you born in Australia?) and a question, the answers to which are to be represented on a bar graph (Where were you born?).
