Shape it up – Exploring 2D shapes is an interactive resources for introducing, discussing, and revising 2D shapes; including circles, triangles, rectangles and squares.
As well as a description, there are three interactive activities for each shape:
- Tap the shape
- Select the shape from others
- Find the shape in a photograph
There is another photograph for finding and discussing shapes and two more interactive activities.
The resource also includes teaching suggestions and access to Make a shape picture, a printable resources that is great for following up the activity in maths or literacy groups.
