How Many Treats? is an interactive Halloween themed addition lesson for use on the interactive whiteboard.
The lesson provides practice with numbers up to ten.
On the first twelve slides, children:
- count the number of sweet treats on each of two plates
- total the number of treats all together
- write the number sentence using the keyboard or interactive whiteboard tool.
On the last slide, children drag sweets onto the plates to make and write their own addition stories.
A follow-up worksheet for independent practice can be accessed from within the resource.
