Illustrator Spotlight – Katrin Dreiling
Meet Katrin Dreiling illustrator of The World’s Worst Pirate written by Michelle Worthington.
The World’s Worst Pirate, listed as a Notable Picture Book in the CBCA 2018 Book of the Year awards, is Katrin’s first picture book.
In the interview, Katrin discusses her love of drawing and of adding humour to her illustrations. She tells us how adding the background story of Bird and Cat, not included in the text, was an additional pleasure for her, and the readers.
