I can write my name is a printable worksheet on which children write their names on the first day of school.

The activity gives children an opportunity to show their ability to write their names and provides teachers with information about their development in fine motor skills; such as, handwriting and pencil control, as well as their readiness for learning to read and write.

The names can be used to make a colourful display in the classroom, or kept as a record for comparison with later development.

Two copies of the worksheet are included to easily enable printing on A4 paper.
