Today it is my pleasure to introduce you to a new fun story time podcast I have just discovered. I’m sure you will love these fun, clever podcasts as much as I do. I gave this podcast a 5-star rating and recommend it for both classroom and home use.
Dorktales Storytime Podcast is great for the whole family to listen to together on family story night, on car trips or anytime. It is perfect in the classroom to promote discussion of stories, particularly when studying fairy tales and fractured fairy tales, stimulate imagination for writing story innovations and pure enjoyment.

Anything that promotes a love of story, as this podcast does, gets my tick of approval. I have to tell you that I have listened to and thoroughly enjoyed all the episodes that are currently available and can’t wait for more.

Jonathan Cormur is a SAG-AFTRA voice actor whose character voices appear in video games, apps, digital comics, audiobooks, industrials, and the award-winning independent film, National Bird. For 6 years, he was the voice of California’s Great America theme park for their in-park show announcements, Gold Striker ride and the Halloween Haunt. Jonathan shares his life experiences through the Mighty League children’s book app series, live storytelling and school assemblies on anti-bullying, inclusion and acceptance for all.

In Dorktales Storytime Podcast, Jonathan is joined by his plucky puppet sidekick, Mr. Reginald T. Hedgehog (or “Mr. Redge,” if you prefer) to tell goofier versions of tales that have delighted kids for generations.

I recently listened to The Emperor’s New Quills (just me) and giggled the whole time! I love listening to Jon’s stories while I’m working at my computer. Dorktales Storytime is entertaining for kids AND Big People! 😉
I totally agree. I love the Three Hedgehogs. Well,, actually, the stories are all very clever and funny and Jonathan does a great job of narrating them.
