Trees from My Backyard Jigsaw Puzzle

Trees from My Backyard is a jigsaw puzzle that can be completed online. You can choose the number of pieces to suit the number and ages of participants. The puzzle doesn’t need to be completed in one session. Progress will be saved for later. Completing jigsaw puzzles helps develop:

• the ability to observe details and relate them to the bigger picture
• awareness of space and shape
• willingness to have a go (trial and error)
• persistance.

The puzzle could be used by a group or the class as a reward,  as an end-of-day activity or when you have a few minutes waiting time. The time is never wasted when children are developing transferrable skills.
